Annie Brakefield

Annie is one of our wonderful receptionists. She says that she loves working at Pure Escape Resort, “The atmosphere is so relaxing, even on a busy day”. Annie loves being able to see our clients arrive excited and so pleased when they are leaving.

She is happily married with 10 children and 18 grandchildren, so you can imagine that she loves spending time with family and friends! Annie also enjoys drawing, playing her guitar, and going to church. Church is a big part of who she is, along with being a voice for childhood cancer and the homeless.

Her and her family helped open Emily’s House in Rock Hill, in honor of her daughter who bravely battled Rhabdomyosarcoma while going out of her way to help the needy. Come into Pure Escape Resort today to meet Annie!

Daniel Martin

After a decade long career in finance Daniel decided to take another path. He graduated from Southeastern School of Massage Therapy in 2011 and was recognized on their Wall of Fame as a distinguished alumni. With almost a decade of massage therapy he has learned numerous approaches and techniques to bring healing and relaxation to those in need.

Daniels’s approach recognizes no client is the same, so every visit is adapted to need. His foremost desire is to bring healing and wholeness to all who rests on his table.

When he isn’t busy at work, you can find Daniel spending time with his wife, Brittany, and planning their beautiful future together.

Tory Torrence

Tory graduated from Allied College in 2008 and has been a licensed Massage Therapist since. She realizes that no two clients are the same and therefore approaches each client’s session with different techniques. She chose massage therapy to help bring healing and health to those who are hurting and need to relax. 

When she isn’t doing massage, she enjoys her husband and son and spends time with her church community.

Olivia Simpson

Olivia graduated from Southeastern school of Neuromuscular Massage in November 2009, and has been a licensed massage therapist since 2010. She chose massage therapy because she wanted to help others feel better and have more flexibility with her work schedule.

Meet Ashley, one of our new and incredible licensed estheticians here at Pure Escape Resort in Rock Hill. Her journey into skincare began with her own experience battling acne. What started as a personal struggle turned into a passion for healing and helping others feel confident in their skin.

Ashley believes skincare should be gentle, thoughtful, and personal. She brings that energy into every treatment, creating a space where clients feel truly seen and cared for.

Outside the spa, you’ll find her enjoying a good cup of coffee, diving into Stardew Valley, or winding down with a horror movie at home with her fiancé. She brings warmth, care, and a listening ear to every appointment.

Alana Paris

Hi, I’m Alana, a licensed esthetician who’s deeply passionate about skincare, self-care, and helping people feel confident and beautiful in their own skin. I’m currently welcoming new clients and offer a variety of services, including relaxing facials, dermaplaning, nano needling, microneedling, chemical peels, brow laminations and tints, lash lifts and tints, and full-body waxing.

Before stepping into the world of esthetics, I built a strong foundation in customer care through my time in the restaurant industry. I’ve spent the past five years at Sweetwater Sports Bar and Grill, where I developed exceptional people skills, a strong work ethic, and a genuine love for serving others—qualities I bring into every client experience.

Outside of the spa, my boyfriend and I recently bought our first home and are soaking up all the excitement of this new chapter together. We also share our home with our sweet (and slightly spoiled) almost-two-year-old Rottweiler who keeps life fun and full of love.

When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me caring for my many plants (I definitely have a green thumb), creating art, reading mystery and romance novels, staying active with workouts and yoga, thrifting, or enjoying quiet moments of meditation and growing closer in my faith. I truly believe in nurturing the mind, body, and soul.

Zaria Covarrubias

Zaira is a bilingual esthetician from Mexico, fluent in both Spanish and English. She’s happily married and currently expecting her first baby. She loves helping her clients feel confident in their skin by blending results driven skincare with wellness and genuine connection.

Her favorite service is dermaplaning with nanopeel, a go to treatment for rejuvenating the skin, boosting glow, and leaving it looking plump and refreshed. Zaira also loves continuing her education and is always learning new ways to better care for her clients.
